FEWorks: About FEWorks
Federico Erebia was born and raised in Port Clinton, Ohio. He attended the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio where he majored in chemistry. He received an M.D. from Brown University.
While doing his Internal Medicine residency in Providence, he took evening classes at the Rhode Island School of Design. This whetted his appetite to explore his creative potential, which had been largely ignored in high school, college and medical school due to pre-med requirements.
Federico moved to Boston after his medical training. In 1994, he bought a dilapidated South End townhouse. Having had difficulty finding reliable contractors, he resolved himself to do most of the work. To help him hone his skills, he has taken classes at the North Bennett Street School, in Boston’s North End.
At this time, Federico is a part-time internist at the Fenway South End. The rest of the week, he can be found in his recently renovated studio/workshop in Somerville. His business [FEWorks] encompasses Art Work, Cabinet Work, Furniture Work, Turned Work, and other Wood Work.
